We have been nurtured in the modern wilderness and blindly conditioned to self-spiral.
We have traded statues of wood and stone for backlit L.E.D. and staying current with that which is going viral.
We log hours on dopamine devices, but can’t escape what the addiction increasingly demands.
We are the temple embodied, where the Spirit graciously resides, but we’d prefer revival at the temple we hold in our hands.
We fall for the cheap sales pitch that our self worth is in our notifications and likes.
We have tasted the riches of Christ but maintain the cravings of a former life.

A blazing glory awaits that will eclipse the glow of this darkening world.
A trumpet will play, a chorus will sound, and all this pixelated noise will be no more.
Church, remember that you’re the bride being adorned for the infinite and eternally loving groom.
Church, lift your head, and let the word spread. He is confidently coming soon.
